Friends Annual Book Sale on the Village Green
Friday, July 8 from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Saturday, July 9 from 10 a.m. until 8 p.m.
Sunday, July 10 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m.
The annual book sale is the Friends’ major fundraiser and proceeds are used to support library programs and events.
A large selection of adult fiction and non-fiction will be sold, along with a wide variety of children’s and young adult books, DVDs, audio books, vinyl records, CDs, puzzles, and more. All items are in good condition.
Volunteers are also needed to help at the sale. Service hours are available for high school students. Contact the library to sign up for a shift; email clinton@midyork.org or call 315-853-2038.
Book Donations Now Accepted
Last Day is Friday, June 24
Donations can be left in the shed in our parking lot at any time.
We accept (in good condition):
- Hardcover books
- Paperback books
- Audio books on CD
- Puzzles
- Music on CD
- DVDs
We do not accept:
- Encyclopedias
- Textbooks (can be brought to the Better World Books Box at the Mid York Library System Headquarters, 1600 Lincoln Avenue, Utica)
- Video tapes
- Magazines
- Vinyl records
- Cassette tapes
- Readers Digest books
- Smelly, crummy, torn, old books
Please bring your donation in a box that is no bigger than a wine box.
