Read Around The Clock

It’s back! Join us as we read for 25 hours on the library’s front lawn. This year, we’ll be reading some children’s books as well as Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, and The Martian Chronicles. Wigglers Story Time (Ages 0-2)

Shrinky Dinks

Kids of all ages can get creative with Shrinky Dinks. Color in a design or make your own, cut it out, and pop it in the toaster oven. Then, watch it shrink into hard plastic.

Walkers Story Time (Ages 2-3)

Doll Clinic
Apr 17 @ 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm

Bring your doll to the library for an annual check up! You can check things like weight, height and vision and visit our “clean up” station to help them look their best. Everyone will make a doll-sized craft to take home.

Mo Willems Tea Party

It’s a Kirkland Town Library tradition! This year, our annual tea party will celebrate the quirky characters of Mo Willems. Join us for tea, snacks, and activities. For children ages 5 and up. Contact the library to sign up.

Third Thursday Cookbook Club

Choose a recipe from the selected cookbook and bring it to a potluck dinner! This month, we are making recipes from Simply Thai Cooking by Wandee Young and Byron Ayanoglu. Stop by the library to look at the cookbook, choose your recipe, and sign up.

Fairy Tale STEAM: The Three Little Pigs

Monday Movie: “A Dog’s Way Home”

Happy Tails Reading Program

Kids in kindergarten through 5th grade who can read independently can practice their reading skills with a trained therapy dog. Contact the library to sign up for a slot.
