After Hours: Blues Concert with Roger Smith

A bit about Roger Smith…

Roger Bernard Smith was born in Rochester, N.Y. in 1939.  He studied painting at The Art Student’s League in New York and the San Francisco Art Institute. He is a graduate of Monroe Community College, Rochester, New York.

His poems and stories have appeared in  Beginnings Magazine; State Street Press,  Tiger’s Eye Journal, Love After 70, (Wising-up Press Anthology); The Sun Magazine: Coming Together Anthology, Exercise Bowling Journal; The Body Attacks Itself Journal; The Haight Ashbury Review; Common Ground; Blood Orange; Parting Gifts; 5 A.M. Journal; Third Wednesday  (Spring 2012, runner-up poetry prize) and Trajectory Journal (fall, 2013).

Smith can be found at the Utica Poets Society, Thursday night poetry readings at the Tramontane Café in Utica, NY.

He lives in the foothills of the Adirondack Mountains.
